Grizzle, fiftyish Candioti Pedro is one of Argentina’s most beloved athletes. His specialty is not football, tennis or polo, but endurance swimming. Last week, for the 26th time, Pedro Candioti tried to realize his life’s ambition: to swim down the Parana River to Buenos Aires.
